Tipptopp - Evaluation of the oral health promotion programme
Abstract
The nationwide oral health promotion programme "Tipptopp. Gesund im Mund und Rundherum" was launched in 2000 under the name "Tipptopp Kariesstopp" as a pilot project in two districts of Vienna. Since then, there have been numerous expansions to expand the joint oral health promotion activities by Vienna Health Promotion and the Austrian Health Insurance Fund. The evaluation takes into account in a holistic way - based on the outcome model of Health Promotion Switzerland - both the planning, structural and process quality as well as the reach and acceptance of the health promotion measures and the outcome quality of the programme. The formative and summative evaluation of the programme will be realised with a bundle of different qualitative and quantitative methods at Viennese kindergartens as well as primary and secondary schools in order to provide relevant optimisation proposals for the future. abif takes over this programme evaluation.
