Project Title
Evaluation of the oral health promotion programme "Tipptopp. Healthy in the mouth and all around".
Abstract
The meanwhile comprehensive oral health promotion programme "Tipptopp. Healthy in the mouth and all around" was launched in 2000 under the name "Tipptopp Kariesstopp" as a pilot project in two Viennese districts. Since then, there have been numerous efforts to expand joint activities to promote oral health through the Vienna Health Promotion Agency and the Vienna Regional Health Insurance Fund. Financing is provided by the Vienna State Health Promotion Fund, which was set up by the Viennese social insurance institutions and the City of Vienna as part of the health reform.
The evaluation takes into account the planning, structural and process quality as well as the scope and acceptance of the health promotion measures and the quality of the results of the programme in a holistic way - based on the outcome model of Health Promotion Switzerland.
The formative and summative evaluation of the "Tipptopp. Healthy in the mouth and all around" is implemented with a bundle of different qualitative and quantitative methods at Viennese kindergartens as well as primary and secondary schools in order to provide relevant optimisation proposals for the future.
