Relaunch of the PES Methods Database
Abstract
The Methods Database of the Austrian Public Employment Service, which currently consists of 700 methods on educational and vocational orientation, provides a major support for trainers and counsellors working in VET. According to a study assigned by the PES, 85% of counsellors, researchers and managers of counselling institutions know the database as well as the handbooks linked to it. The Methods Database is one of the most widely used PES resources.
Since the technical design was developed quite a long time ago, abif initiated a technical and graphical relaunch of the Methods Database. Usability and barrier-free access will be given highest priority. Also, new features will be introduced.
