Project "QualiTools IT-Training"

Project Title

QualiTools for IT-Trainers - Improving the Learning Process, Learning Outcomes and Learning Transfer in IT Training

Abstract

The project partnership seeks to enhance the professional development of VET teachers and trainers by strengthening their transversal skills of:

  • adapting training to needs of learners
  • reflecting on the quality of training processes
  • evaluating outcomes and learning transfer
  • and improving their own practice accordingly

  • The target group consists of ICT teachers, trainers and tutors in vocational schools, enterprises and VET organisations who provide non-formal or formal further ICT training certificates.

Within the project, a broad set of ready-to-use tools for quality improvement of VET with detailed descriptions and PDF materials will be provided as a handbook and in an online database. To build QA capacity on how to apply the tools for practitioners, face-to-face training programmes and webinars will be developed, implemented and evaluated in each partner country.

Furthermore, VET/QM managers in schools, colleges and enterprises will receive a manager guideline on how to combine "classic" QM with a bottom-up approach and on how to support ICT teachers/trainers in applying the QA tools in practice. A training programme on how to apply the guidelines will be developed.

In each partner country, there will be Valorisation Workshops for QM/VET managers and ICT teachers/trainers. The project will conclude with an international conference.

The project is being carried out in the EU partner countries Poland, Austria, Portugal, United Kingdom and Bulgaria.
