Project "Webinar2learn"

Project Title

Webinar2learn - Video conference use for adult learning

Abstract

How to plan a professional webinar? What is important for a successful realisation?

The Transfer of Innovation project Webinar2learn is addressing exactly these questions and gives the trainers the suitable toolkit. The project aims to further develop the only structuring and compounding methodology for webinars available in Europe and to transfer it to the partner countries (Austria, Slovakia, Bulgaria).

Webinars (composed of “web” and “seminar”) attracts more and more interest especially in the educational sector, since they are time and cost saving. Moreover, they are location-independent and according to circumstances time-independent. For this reason trainers who run webinars take a great benefit from a methodological manual that is application-oriented and based on good practices.

The method has been developed in a previous project. Now the “Webinar Methodology” and the “Trainer's Manual” will be improved, adapted and translated in the respective national language. For the revision of the contents experts are consulted and test trainings are conducted in all participating countries.

abif is in charge for the quality management in this project. Furthermore, we are organizing the translation into German and the dissemination in Austria.
