Evaluation of the implementation of fit2work
Abstract
Since 2010, people suffering from health problems at the workplace have had the opportunity to turn to the service points of "fit2work” in order to receive information, counselling and when needed more long-term case management. In the first half of 2012, abif will be evaluating this free counselling service that is implemented in close cooperation with the Austrian Pension Insurance Institution (PVA), the Austrian Public Employment Service (AMS), the Federal Social Office, the Austrian General Accident Insurance Institution (AUVA), the Labour Inspectorate and the health insurance funds.
Questions include the following:
How many people (of the target group) use the counselling services?What do the project partners think of the case management?What facilitating and hindering patterns/factors can be observed in the counselling process and in the referral?Could there be problems at interfaces/with referral?These questions are addressed with a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods and interviews.
