Project "Handbook Infomanagement"

Project Title

Handbook on 2.0 Methods in vocational Orientation: Information Management

Abstract

Based on five already compiled Handbooks on Methods in vocational orientation, mainly focusing on different target groups (general vocactional orientation, women, migrants, rehabiltees and youth) abif works on another sequel to this series: this time on information management and the use of internet in vocational orientation. Following general outlines of information management and the general applicability of the internet in vocational orientation programmes, the handbook will present web sites which are of interest for vocational counsellors. In a subsequent chapter, Counsellors will have the possibility to update themselves on innovations in the internet and social media. Even more, they will be given methods to use with the course participants. Another emphasis lies on the application of tools on vocational orientation, which are available online.

A glossary, an index as well as a PES-material collection will contribute to the user-friendliness of the handbook. The handbook will be only published in German.
