Project Title

Handbook on Methods in vocational Orientation for youth aged between 12 and 19 years

Abstract

Based on the research project "Vocational Orientation in the Focus of active Labour Market Policy" that was carried out in the years 2002/2003 on behalf of the Public Employment Service Austria (Dep. Labour Market and Vocational Orientation) abif created four handbooks:

• "Practical handbook vocational orientation",


• "Handbook on Methods in Vocational Orientation for Women"


• "Practical handbook on methods in vocational rehabilitation" and
• "Handbook on Methods in vocational Orientation for people with migration background or in a multicultural context "

The success of these publications, due to their profound and practical handbook form that provides relevant methods and tools of applied vocational orientation and guidance which is directed towards the labour market situation, and the great interest in a publication on vocational Orientation for the young, abif will create a subsequent new Handbook for youth aged between 12 and 19 years.
