SfU - Service for companies: What approaches are pursued in European Public Employment Services?
Abstract
Public employment services have a wide range of tasks, from matching labour supply and demand through placement, to providing information and advice, active labour market programmes and the payment of support services. Parallels, but also differences, can be identified in the concrete organisation of the services offered across the countries. This study focuses on an overview of company-related services within the framework of (active) labour market policy in other European countries in order to optimally exploit labour force potential. From this, approaches are sought that can contribute to the further development of the instruments, initiatives and measures used in Austria.
