Project Title
Professional recognition in Austria. Experiences of persons in recognition and nostrification procedures of foreign professional qualifications
Abstract
The qualitative study commissioned by the Austrian Integration Fund (ÖIF) and conducted by the social research institute abif explores the experiences, information and support needs of immigrants in the recognition process, identifies hurdles and difficulties and derives recommendations with the help of two experts from ENIC NARIC AUSTRIA and contact points for people with qualifications acquired abroad (AST). The focus was on the recognition processes of persons who completed their education in third countries.
