Project "Trauma uns"
Project Title
Evaluation of the pilot project "Trauma uns" by Footprint
Abstract
The Footprint association supports women and girls affected by violence and human trafficking. The pilot project "Trauma uns" aimed to respond to the target groups increased need for care due to the psychosocial and financial consequences of the Covid 19 pandemic. The day centre provided free and low-threshold access to support services. In terms of sustainability, the "Kraftgarten" established in the project can also be used by other organisations working with trauma victims beyond the project period. Networking and case discussion meetings as well as workshops on trauma-centred work and psychohygiene were organised with the institutions. In addition, brochures with supporting information were prepared. The research institute abif was commissioned with the accompanying evaluation of this pilot project. Qualitative methods (interviews, focus groups) were used to evaluate the offer from the perspective of the participants in "Trauma uns". The external professionals and cooperation partners of Footprint were interviewed online using a standardised survey instrument.
