Mobility project "The Examination of the vocational training in Europe and its implementation in Turkey"
Abstract
In the course of the mobility project "The Examination of the vocational training to Europe and its implementation in Turkey” within the scope of the EU program Leonardo da Vinci teachers of the technical vocational school of Diyarbakýr visited Austrian enterprises, schools and training workshops in the period 26.09.2004 to 09.10.2004. The project pursues the goal of obtaining information about the Austrian system of vocational training.
At the beginning of the project a common comparison was drawn between the Turkish and the Austrian system of vocational training by means of a discussion between the social researchers in abif and the teachers of the technical school of Diyarbakýr. The result of the numerous discussions and talks was that the procurement of educational, cultural, organizational and economic specific features of the Austrian system of vocational training can contribute to promote the development of the Turkish system of vocational training.
