Focus Areas
- Labour Market & Employment: Research and development on New Work, digitalisation and artificial intelligence, green jobs and green skills, skills shortages and international skilled workers, skills and qualification needs, career and educational guidance, and labour market integration. Another core area of expertise is the evaluation of labour market policy measures and projects, as well as the implementation of studies and analyses. ABIF applies both qualitative and quantitative research methods to assess impacts, provide evidence for decision-making, and support the evidence-based development of labour market policies and instruments.
- Training & Professional Development: The ABIF Academy offers innovative online and face-to-face training programmes for trainers and career guidance professionals working in the labour market policy sector. Key topics include artificial intelligence, career guidance, green guidance, digital skills, professional development, and current trends in the world of work and the labour market.
- EU Projects: We develop and implement international projects focusing on career and educational guidance, distance counselling, artificial intelligence, augmented reality, digital learning formats, skills development, quality assurance, and innovative methods and curricula for education and training. Through collaboration with European partner organisations, we promote the exchange of good practices and the development of forward-looking solutions.
