Project "Green Jobs II"
Project Title
Labour market policy measures against the background of changed occupations and activities. Follow up study of Eco-jobs for the unemployed
Abstract
In the follow-up study to "Labour market policy measures with regard to the greening of the economy - eco-jobs against unemployment?", which, like the previous study, is being carried out in cooperation with the Austrian Institute of Economic Research (WIFO), the international state of research on the classification of eco-jobs is to be deepened with the help of a new approach that takes into account the modifications of work activities in traditional occupations. Another focus is on the extent to which different routine and non-routine activities are represented in the individual categories of green jobs. In addition to the analysis of research results, two focus groups will be conducted in selected sectors, in which regional labour market experts from the PES, supporting organisations and business representatives will discuss possible labour market policy measures to promote green occupations and green skills.
